Linseed bark, a waste fibre or bundle produced by processing flax stalks, consists of cellulose (45-58%), lignin (21-29) and pentosans (23-26). Although it contains more ash than wood chips, flax bark is suitable for the production of fuel briquettes or pellets. Their combustion emission of harmful substances into the atmosphere is minimal compared to coal, solar oil, fuel oil, and the ash produced is suitable for use as fertiliser. In other words, fuel pellets from bark are chemically and biologically safe, produced from renewable raw materials and allow to reduce losses or make production waste-free.
