Fuel briquettes
Torph is a solid combustible mineral with a low sulphur and impurity content. Peat briquettes are produced by pressing peat, resulting in black coloured bricks with a homogeneous texture. The calorific value of peat briquettes is about 3800-4200 kcal/kg. Peat briquettes are an alternative to traditional fuels such as coal, firewood, fuel oil and are the most efficient type of fuel, taking into account its calorific value and price. Peat burns 5 times longer than firewood, releasing 2 times more energy, fuel briquettes do not emit tar during combustion, and the ash can be used as fertiliser. Laying 8-10 kg of fuel briquettes ensures the operation of the boiler for 10-12 hours.
Fuel briquettes are supplied to consumers:
- In bulk (road and railway transport),
- packed in big-bags (450-550 kg and 900-1100 kg).,
- in polypropylene bags of 25 kg (in big bags 550-1100 kg),
- on pallets of 1000kg:
- shrink-wrapped 10 kg
- in prolipropylene tape 10 kg
