Peat pots
hollow for growing seedlings
Peat pots are designed for growing fast-growing, nutritionally demanding seedlings of various crops: vegetable (cucumber, tomato, courgette, patisson, melon, etc.), flower (primrose, coleus, geranium, gladiolus, tulip, etc.), fruit and ornamental (gooseberry, currant, raspberry, blueberry, rose, etc.).
Hollow peat pots have the necessary strength, both when dry and wet. The walls of the pots retain their original shape throughout the entire seedling season. This is due to the fact that the forming material is wood pulp (brown or white) or kraft cellulose. But the main material is still the upper sphagnum peat of the moss group with decomposition degree up to 20 %, ash content not more than 8 %, moisture not more than 55 %. Its share in the composite composition of peat pots reaches 50 %
